City of Las Cruces
The City of Las Cruces will begin its free Music in the Park series on Sunday, May 29 with the Mayor’s Jazz Fest at 6 p.m. at Apodaca Park, 801 E. Madrid. The concert will feature Wycliffe Gordon, jazz trombonist from New York and Greg Adams, jazz trumpet from Los Angeles.
Music in the Park is a 14-week musical extravaganza offering Las Crucens an eclectic mix of music performed by local, regional and nationally recognized artists. All concerts listed begin at 7 p.m. The following is the 2011 schedule:
